Hey, you're welcome! An active transport mode could also be caused by a system restart. However, this was never a problem with my Audi A6 and in your case it also seems rather unlikely. As for changing the battery: it took about an hour the first time, but I'm sure I could do it in half an hour now. It really isn't as difficult as you might think. You just need the right tools and of course you have to be careful not to damage anything. However, it might still be worth asking your garage. They may be able to solve the problem in a completely different way. And don't worry, they don't usually charge too much for a diagnosis, if at all. I hope this helps you!
