Hello, thanks for your help! My Caddy is a 2006 model with a diesel engine and now has 270111 km on the clock. The fault occurs regardless of the driving situation, whether I'm on the highway or in the city. The way you describe it, the problem could really be the cable connections. I will definitely go to the garage and have it checked. My warranty has already expired, but I still hope that the repair won't be too expensive. Thanks again for your tip!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2007 Passat Diesel. As you suspected, it was actually due to the airbag system failing. The airbag warning light came on and I took the car to the garage immediately. I must say the repair was quite quick and the guys at the garage were very professional. They read out the fault code, after which they reset the airbag system. Apparently there was a malfunction in the system that could trigger the airbag prematurely - quite a scary thought! The cost to me was around 150 euros. It wasn't an arm and a leg, but safety first. I hope this helps you and you might have a little less of a headache. Have a safe journey!

Hello, thank you for your information! It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one having these problems. The airbag warning light thing sounds a lot like what I'm experiencing. I will take my Caddy to the garage as soon as possible to have the fault code read out. Your experience report helps me to get an idea of the costs involved. 150 euros is not exactly cheap, but as you say, safety first. Thanks again for your helpful advice and good wishes. Have a safe journey too!

Airbag control module light on on dash, does it have to be programmed or can I bypass
Hello, if you have replaced the airbag control unit, this must also be programmed to the vehicle.

Hello, the fault with my Skoda Superb 2 is the crash sensor and igniter for the side airbag. Can I do this myself or is it better to take it to the garage?
Working on the airbag system can be dangerous if not done correctly. It's a safety-relevant issue, so I would recommend taking your Skoda to a professional mechanic to ensure the repair is done safely and correctly. Please let us know how it goes. Do you have any other questions?

Hello on my Audi A3 8p 3 doors the window no longer goes down Relay only cracks once when the button is pressed
But the motor is intact, I have already tried it on the other side and the plug from the dir itself is also new
Does anyone have an idea?
It sounds like the issue could be with the window regulator or the switch itself. Try swapping the switch with the one from the other side to see if the problem persists. If it does, the issue might be with the window regulator. Please update us on your progress. Do you have any other questions?
Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2008 Golf VW Diesel, but I am not a mechanic. It was a defect in the cable connections of the airbag system that caused the fault. I went straight to my regular garage and they fixed it within a short time. Fortunately, it didn't cost me anything because the repair was covered by the warranty. Can you give me more details about your vehicle? Maybe then I can help you even better.
