Recently I've been having various problems: Engine starts harder when cold, sometimes it won't start at all, weird engine noises, weak battery when starting, flickering or dimming lights and a warning light in the speedometer. I had a bad experience at my last mechanic visit, so I'm asking you: Have any of you had similar symptoms? What was the cause and what was your experience with the mechanic? Thanks in advance!

I also found that the engine struggled to start in the cold and the lights flickered. I also had a weak battery and various warning lights. My mechanic determined at the time that the fault was the result of a secondary fault in the vehicle's electrical system. More precisely, the control unit (ECU) was damaged and there were problems with several sensors. This work was quite complex and time-consuming, but necessary to get the car back into a reliable condition.
