Hey, thanks for the quick reply! My Movano has now done quite a bit of mileage, it's at 194891 km. The last service wasn't too long ago. Your suggestion with the heating wires could really fit, I hadn't thought about that. I haven't noticed any other symptoms, only the rear window heater is acting up. I think I'll go to the garage and have the heating wires checked. Thanks again, that helped me a lot!

No problem, glad I could help you! Yes, I think it would be a good idea to have the heater wires checked. The fault symptoms really fit with this. By the way, if you've already driven your Movano that far, I'd recommend having other components checked anyway. With the mileage, something else can quickly fail. Good luck at the garage, hopefully it won't be too expensive. Keep us up to date!

Hey thanks, I'll do that. I'll definitely have all the components checked - not a bad idea, especially with the mileage. Hopefully it's just a minor fault with the heater wires and not a major repair. I'll keep you posted and let you know what the fault was in the end. Must say, great community here, thanks again for the help!

Hi, I have only moderate experience with cars, but I had a similar problem with my 2014 Opel Movano Diesel. I noticed the same thing, that the rear window heating stopped working and error messages were displayed. The fault was ultimately due to defective heating wires. I then took the car to the garage and they replaced the heating wires. The whole repair cost me 585.0 euros. So, if you have similar symptoms, it could possibly be the same problem. But to be sure and to be able to help you better, I would need more information about your vehicle configuration and equipment, or any other symptoms you have noticed. Hope this helps you!
