Hi, thanks for the tip. That sounds a bit like my situation. My car already has 146072KM down and had its last service about 5 months ago. Unlike yours, the trip computer doesn't show any error messages. It's just as if the handbrake had never existed. I hope this helps you understand a bit more about my problem. Would you say it could be the same as yours?

Yes, it could actually be the same thing. On my Peugeot, the on-board computer didn't show an error message either. Nevertheless, the workshop was able to find the problem with the control unit. So it seems that the handbrake is not communicating correctly with the system, which is why no error message is displayed. I can only recommend that you visit the garage and have your car checked there. Have them check the control unit in particular. It could be a costly repair, but safety first, right? Good luck!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2008 Peugeot Partner Diesel. I only have a little experience in cars, so I went to the nearest workshop. The problem was a defective control unit, which cost me 1000 euros. Have you experienced symptoms similar to mine? Maybe we can understand the problem better together if you share more details about your vehicle.
