Hey, thanks for the answer. My model is the Opel Vivaro with a gasoline engine. There are 123406 km on the odometer and the last inspection was recently. Apart from the overheating, I haven't noticed anything, no error messages or anything like that. I'll take your advice on board and have the wiring harness checked. I hope that's it! Thank you, really cool of you!

No problem, I'm happy to help! With so many kilometers on the speedometer, it's not that unusual. Another thing I can think of is that you should also check the coolant level if you haven't already done so. It may sound simple, but it can easily be overlooked and is often the culprit in overheating problems. So, if the wiring harness is OK, that would be something else to check! Good luck, good luck, good luck!

Thank you very much, I will do that. It's good to know that it's not just me and that there is a solution. I really appreciate your willingness to help. I will follow your advice and check the coolant level and of course have the wiring harness checked at the garage. I hope that solves the problem. Thanks again for your help!

Hello, something similar happened to me with my 2016 Opel Movano. I'm not a car professional, but I have average experience and, like you, experimented a bit. The problem was finally solved by my garage. The wiring harness for the radiator shutter was defective/rubbed up behind the bumper. I then paid 270.0 euros for the repair. So, see if that's your problem too. Which model do you have and have you noticed any other signs or error messages? This could help you to narrow down the problem. All the best!
