Hey, thanks for the reply. I've just had the electrics checked at 219469 km, everything seems fine so far. No other faults apart from the annoying sat nav and audio failure. I'm assuming it's the same as yours and the microphone needs to be replaced. But 255 euros for a new microphone, phew, that's a lot.

Hey, that all sounds almost exactly like me back then. The 255 euros also included working hours, just so you know. But yes, it's definitely not cheap. With your mileage, I'd still say there's a good chance that it really is the microphone that's faulty. Hopefully that helps you a bit. Good luck and hopefully your mechanic can find a cheaper solution!

Hey, thanks for the info. That makes sense, including labor hours. I'll keep that in mind when I go to the garage. The mileage thing reassures me a bit, at least it shows that my car is still pretty reliable. Let's hope that replacing the microphone solves the problem and I don't have to dig too deep into my pockets. Thanks again for your help, it really helped me!

Hi, I drive a 2008 Toyota Corolla and had a similar problem last year. I don't know that much about cars, but after the guys at my garage checked the car, it turned out that the microphone was faulty. They then replaced it and it cost me 255.0 euros. Could you please give me some more information about your vehicle? What about the electrics, for example? Maybe then I can help you a little more specifically.
