Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I also have an automatic transmission. The mileage on my car is 105222 km and the last service was done recently. I'm sorry, I probably should have mentioned these details in my original post. I will take your advice and get my ECU checked. Thanks for the help!

Hey, no problem, we all forget a few details from time to time! My Renault Megane also had similar symptoms, but after a mileage of 130000 km. The control unit was only part of the problem. In my case, the ABS control unit was also defective, which could explain some of the problems you describe. It cost extra, but that fixed the gearbox slipping and the ABS warning light. So I would definitely recommend a check of the whole ABS system and a diagnosis of the gearbox. Hopefully that helps and you're not looking at too much of a repair bill! Good luck buddy!

Hi, thanks for your feedback and advice. I'm starting to realize that this may be a bigger problem than I originally thought. I think I will definitely follow your recommendation and have the whole ABS system and gearbox checked. It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one with problems like this. Hopefully I'm not looking at too much repair costs. Thanks again for your help and wish me luck!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2015 Renault Megane. I only have some experience with cars, so I'm not an expert. I then went to my garage and they found that the control unit was defective. The repair cost me around 525 euros. Can you perhaps give me some more information about your car? Does it have an automatic gearbox like mine? Maybe I can help a bit more if I have a few more details.
