Hi, I have just under 189847 KM on the speedometer and the last service was about 15,000 KM ago. Interesting about the electric changeover valve, I hadn't even considered it. Maybe I'm lucky and it's the same thing. I'll mention it to the garage and hope that it won't be too expensive. Thanks for the tip! I'll let you know how it goes.

Hey, no problem! With your mileage, it could be that the electric changeover valve is giving up the ghost. Of course, there are always several possibilities and without a precise diagnosis it's just a guess. But of course, feel free to mention it to the workshop. It's great that you're keeping us up to date. Of course, I hope it's nothing too expensive. Good luck and keep your fingers crossed that it gets fixed quickly and cheaply!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2009 Toyota Yaris, which is just a bit older than your Aygo. I don't know much about cars, but I know a good mechanic who I trust. I had exactly the same symptom back then: engine indicator light on, increased fuel consumption and smelly exhaust. The garage found that the electric changeover valve was defective. I paid around 140 euros for it, but after that everything ran like clockwork again. Of course, it's not 100% certain that it's the same for you, but the symptoms fit pretty well. What mileage does your Aygo have on it and when was the last service carried out? Maybe I or someone else will be able to help you better. Good luck with it and let us hear what your garage thinks!
