Hi, thanks for your reply. Your experience does indeed sound very similar to what I'm going through at the moment. Do you happen to remember how much the repair cost you at the garage? And have you had any other problems with your Peugeot since then that might be related to the intake system again? I just want to make sure I consider all eventualities before taking the next step. Thanks in advance!

Hello, sure, no problem, I still remember the costs. It cost me €100 to repair the leaking intake hose. So it's not as expensive as you might think. Since the repair by the mechanic, I haven't had any more problems with the leak in the intake system, so I think the problem was really solved after that. So from my side I can say that it was definitely worth the money and I would also recommend that you don't put it off. The car runs like clockwork again and no longer hisses or vibrates. Hope this helps you!

Hello, thank you for the detailed information. Your experience really helps me! 100 seems like a reasonable price when I think about how much the problems are affecting my driving experience. Glad to hear you haven't had any further difficulties since. I'm definitely not going to waste any time either and will try to get the problem fixed as soon as possible. Thanks again for your help! Your advice has helped me a lot. I hope that my Peugeot 3008 will soon be running smoothly again and that I will once again have the pleasure of driving a car without any problems. All the best!

Hi, your symptoms sound very similar to what I had with my 2018 Peugeot 5008 diesel. I had an intake hose leak and the symptoms were exactly the same - loss of power, juddering, strange noises and vibrations. In my opinion, a leak in the intake system is a pretty serious problem that should be solved immediately to prevent further damage. During my last visit to the workshop, the leaking intake hose had to be replaced. Sure, it's no small matter, but it's definitely within the realm of possibility and shouldn't be dismissed as a minor issue. I recommend you get it checked as soon as possible and repaired if necessary. Good luck with that!
