Hey, thanks for the advice! I seem to have exactly the same problem. Can you remember the cost you incurred at the garage to learn the injectors? I'd also like to know if anything else has come up since then that wasn't obvious at first? Maybe other problems or something? Thanks in advance!

Hey, I'm glad I could help! So the cost of learning the injectors was €45 for me, which is quite reasonable. Since the visit to the mechanic, the car has actually been running perfectly again. The quantity drift compensation, which was probably the main problem, had to be reset. After that, it ran like clockwork, no longer stuttered, and I also got the fuel consumption under control again. So no more surprises or problems, everything is fine. I hope you have just as much luck! Good luck!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! That reassures me a bit, the costs seem to be manageable. Good to hear that everything has been going well since then. I'll probably take my old Renault to the garage and have the injectors tuned. Maybe I'll be lucky and everything will run smoothly again. I really appreciate your help! I didn't expect to get such a good answer so quickly. So thanks again and have a good trip out there!

Hi, I once had something similar with my Renault Trafic 2012. The symptoms, as you have already suspected, point to injectors not working properly. In my case, this was a serious problem, as injectors that are not working properly generally put a lot of strain on the engine and can lead to further damage, even if it's not immediately obvious. The fact that the injectors were not tuned meant that the vehicle generally ran poorly, consumed more fuel and was unstable at idle - just as you described. So I had to go to the garage and have the injectors tuned. On the whole, this solved my problems and I was able to get rid of this annoying problem once and for all. What's important though - it really should be done by a professional as it's a very specific job and not something you can just do at home. Hope this helps you! Car problems are always annoying, but there's no getting around it. Good luck!
