Hello, I also had a similar problem with my Audi A6 2018 Diesel. In my case, it was actually the pressure sensor for the system. The garage then read it out using their diagnostic device and found that the sensor was faulty. The cost of the sensor, installation and calibration was just over 400 euros. Good luck and hopefully it's nothing too serious!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Audi Q5 2018 Diesel. I had a faulty ad-blue tank. It cost me about 1200 euros to have it repaired by a garage. But in my case the warning light for the Ad-blue system was on, not the engine light. But each case could be different. Could you give me some additional information about your car? Mileage, anything you've changed recently, etc. It might help me help you more accurately.

Many thanks for the reply and the helpful tip! It's good to know that it could actually be the pressure sensor. 400 euros isn't exactly cheap either, but at least it's less than the defective Ad-Blue tank at LMBaumannRider. I'll take it to the workshop to get a precise diagnosis. In the event that it really is the pressure sensor, I will then know roughly what costs I should expect. Thanks again for your help!

Pedro, that's a good point. Using an OBD scanner like mycarly can indeed help in calibrating a replaced DPF sensor. However, it's important to note that not all OBD scanners have this capability, and it's also crucial to follow the correct procedure to avoid causing any further issues. AFspeedy, please let us know how it goes at the workshop and if you have any further questions.

AdBlue system fault
If you're experiencing an AdBlue system fault, start by checking the AdBlue fluid level to ensure it's not low. If the level is fine, it could be a sensor issue or a problem with the injector. It's advisable to have a diagnostic scan performed to pinpoint the exact cause. If the issue persists, consider consulting a professional mechanic, as AdBlue system faults can affect vehicle emissions and performance. Let us know if you need further assistance or have any updates.

Hello, thank you for your reply! Yes, the mileage is 256871 km. I haven't really changed anything on the car recently. The only thing I've done is regular maintenance. An ad-blue warning light isn't illuminated, but I'll definitely keep an eye on that and possibly ask a mechanic about it. Hopefully it won't cost as much as your Q5. Thanks for the tip!
