Hey, thanks for your quick reply! It's great that you've already had to go through that. Stupid question, but can you remember how much it cost you? I realize that prices can vary, but a rough guide would be really helpful. And did everything go smoothly after the replacement or were there any other problems? Thanks again for your efforts!

Hi, sure, no problem! The repair of my diesel particulate filter cost €1550 because it was broken internally. That's a lot of money, but now everything is running smoothly again. Since the visit to the mechanic, the heavy loading of the diesel particulate filter is no longer an issue and my car is running smoothly again. No further problems since then. I hope this helps you! All the best for your repair!

Hi, wow, that really is a tidy sum...but what don't you do for your baby, right? It's very reassuring to know that your car has been running well since then and you've had no further problems. Thank you so much for your help. It has really calmed me down and shown me the way a bit. Now I know what to expect. Thanks again and take good care of yourself!

Hi, well I had a similar experience with my 2018 diesel Mercedes GLC class. It had the same symptoms as your car. DPF internally defective is a serious thing, yes. It ended up having to be replaced because a clean wasn't enough. I was quite nervous because I knew it was a big job. But everything went well in the end. But definitely get it checked at a garage because it's really no joke. Hope that helps you a bit. Good luck!
