Thanks for the input, buddy! Your experience sounds similar to mine. Just in case you remember, could you please let me know roughly how much it cost you? And did you have any problems afterwards or has everything been fine since? I want to be a bit prepared in case there are any other surprises in store for me. Thanks again!

No problem, buddy! Well, I was lucky, because since the visit to the mechanic, the "engine may not start" problem has been fixed, and it cost me absolutely nothing! It turned out that the fault was a secondary fault with the cars electrics and thanks to my warranty it cost me €0. As for the question about other problems, no, everything has been running smoothly since then. I hope this reassures you a little and helps you. Good luck, hopefully you're as unlucky as me!

Great, that's really good news! I'll go to the garage tomorrow and hope they take care of it as well as you did. Your info really makes me less worried, thanks for taking the time to reply! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it goes smoothly for me too. Thanks again!

Hey, I had similar problems with my 2012 Peugeot 208. The problem was a fault in the vehicle's electrical system. Had to take it to the mechanic and he said the battery was broken and the charging system also needed to be checked. They then replaced the battery and fixed the charging system. It took a while, but then it ran like a charm again. Of course, this can be serious, because if the electrical system is faulty, it can cause further problems. So it was a good decision to have it checked quickly. But don't worry, a competent workshop should be able to sort it out in no time at all. I hope this helps you!
