Hey, great that you're sharing this, that sounds really hopeful. So you haven't had any further technical problems since then? And do you happen to remember how much it cost you at the mechanic? I'm sure it was an easy job for the guys there, but it's still kind of cheesy that you can't fix something like that yourself. Hopefully it's just the dirt and nothing worse.

Sure, no problem, I remember now - the cost of cleaning the sensor at the mechanic was €45. Since the visit to the mechanic, my radar sensor is fine again, no further technical problems. But yes, I understand, it's really annoying that you can't just do it yourself. Well, I really hope that it's just a dirty sensor and not something bigger. Fingers crossed!

You are super helpful, really great, thank you! 45 euros is not that much, so I hope it will be just as easy with my car. It's reassuring to hear that everything went well for you afterwards. I'll be at the garage first thing in the morning. There should be an appointment for a bit of cleaning at short notice. I still hope it doesn't get any worse. Keep your fingers crossed! Have a nice evening!

Hi, I had a similar ailment with my 2017 Peugeot 3008, it was a pain in the ass. My sensor was dirty and needed to be cleaned. The mechanic said dirt and debris could interfere with the objective function of the sensor, and that was definitely the case with me. It wasn't a big deal, but it was really annoying. A clean sensor fixed the problem and nothing lights up in my speedometer anymore. And the parking distance control works again. So, check whether the sensor is clean. Surely you want your Peugeot to run smoothly again. Good luck with that!
