Hey! Ah, the infamous Check Engine light drama - totally feel you on this one. I've got this sneaky suspicion my Renault Arkana might end up giving me the same issues. Hmm, Cable connection defect, huh? That's an eye-opener. Just out of curiosity, do you recall about how much it set you back when you had it fixed? And since getting that sorted, any other problems hit your radar? I'm just trying to foresee any extra headaches that might lie in wait for us Renault owners. Thanks for the scoop!
Hey there! Ah, the notorious check engine saga, right? As for the cost of fixing the Cable connection defect, it was around the 170€ mark - worth every cent, though, given the peace of mind afterwards. Since that mishap, the road's been pretty smooth, thankfully. Oh, and remember that Auxiliary Coolant Pump problem you were worrying about? It seems that mechanic visit wasn't all bad - they managed to fix it along the way. So that's one less thing for you to fret about. Let's hope it's all easy cruising from here for our Renaults, eh? Keep me posted, and good luck!
Hey! Thanks for that. That gives me a good ballpark figure on the cost and a bit of relief knowing beside that cable issue and the Auxiliary Coolant Pump there's not much to worry about. I think it's about time I booked an appointment for that check engine light... seems like it's more than just a showpiece after all, haha! And absolutely, fingers crossed it's just clear roads ahead for us Renault drivers! I'll keep you posted on how things turn out. Thanks again for the help!

Hey there! I got your back! Had a similar hitch with my 2018 Renault Megane a while back. It wasn't the Auxiliary Coolant Pump, though. Check engine light kept flashing because of a Cable connection defect. The mechanics had to spend some time looking for the root cause, though. Gotta admit it, was a bit of a pickle. Once they found it, they just had to replace the defective cable and reconnect it. It wasn't a huge deal, but not something to overlook either. You do not want to end up with a bigger problem leaving it hanging there as it was. As to your mechanic concern, you gotta find someone who knows what they're doing and who won't rip you off. I can recommend my mechanic, he's a real whizz with these things and he understands what "budget" means too, LOL! Hope this helps and you get that issue sorted!
