Hey, thanks for your advice! It reassures me to know that it doesn't have to be anything too serious. I will definitely take it to the garage as soon as possible. If you can remember, could you tell me how much you paid for it? And has anything else come up since the repair? I would appreciate an answer, just out of curiosity and to be prepared for anything. Congrats to your garage by the way, sounds like they did a great job!

Hey, no problem! I had to fork out €215 to repair the wiring harness for the radiator shutter, but since then everything has been running like clockwork again. It was worth every penny, I tell you. The guys in the workshop did a really good job and there hasn't been another malfunction since. The controlled air flap thing you mentioned was also a problem for me, but it's been completely fixed since the mechanic visit. So, don't worry. Just go to the garage and they'll sort it out. Fingers crossed!

Great, thanks for the info! I think that sounds like a fair price, especially if the problem is fixed afterwards. That's reassuring to hear that nothing has happened to you since then. Yes, you're right. I should just go to the garage and get it fixed. I think I've done enough speculation, now it's time for action. I really appreciate your advice and support. Keep your fingers crossed for me! See you then!

Hi buddy, I can understand you very well. I had a similar problem with my 2010 Renault Megane. The check engine light was also on and the car was overheating. In the end, the wiring harness of the radiator shutter was defective and rubbed open behind the bumper, just as you suspect. It doesn't have to be anything serious. It's annoying, but not a catastrophe. Just don't drive around with it for too long. In my case, it was necessary to replace the wiring harness and readjust the radiator blind. I went to a good specialist garage and the guys did everything properly and professionally. So, don't let yourself get stressed unnecessarily and it's best to go to the workshop straight away. I wish you the best of luck!
