Operating problems on BMW 1 Series E82 Coupe

Dimming of the speedometer no longer works automatically in the dark

Failure of various systems (mostly in the area of audio/navigation functions)

Hi all, I am experiencing several problems with my BMW 1 Series E82 Coupe. Yesterday, while customizing several light intensity issues, all of a sudden the check light stopped working. Also, the angel eyes, high beams, turn signals, power windows and others stopped working completely. Also, because the window does not roll down, I cannot close the car. All the aspects in which I modified some parameter have stopped working completely. I already tried restoring the source maps, disconnecting the battery and deleting the app and trying again, but all to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on and how to fix it? Thank you very much.

Check the fuses related to the affected systems first, as a blown fuse could cause multiple electrical components to stop working. If the fuses are intact, inspect the vehicle's body control module (BCM) or any related relays, as they might have been affected during the customization. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions.

I'll try it now and let you know, thank you very much.

Make sure to also check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure and not damaged. If the issue persists after checking the fuses and BCM, it might be worth consulting a professional mechanic to avoid any further complications. Let me know if you need more help!

The fuses and wiring are not, all are in good condition, the last thing I have left is to look at the FRM but to know if it is good or bad I think I would have to buy a new one.

Before purchasing a new Footwell Module (FRM), try resetting it by disconnecting the battery for about 15 minutes and then reconnecting it. If the problem persists, it might be best to have a professional diagnose the FRM to confirm if it needs replacement. Let me know how it goes or if you have more questions!
