Hello, no problem, happy to help! Yes, the cost was 290 €. It wasn't exactly cheap, but afterwards everything was tip-top again. Since I went to the mechanic, the low voltage in the vehicle has been rectified and there have been no further problems with the battery. So far, I haven't had to have anything else done to the battery management system either, so everything is running smoothly. If I had known that it was actually the battery, I probably wouldn't have waited quite so long. So yes, no further problems on the radar. Hope things are going just as well for you! Stay healthy and take care of yourself!

Great, that doesn't sound too bad. 290 may not be cheap, but the main thing is that the problem has not recurred. It's good to know that you haven't had any further problems since replacing the battery. Really big thanks to you for your helpful advice! I will definitely visit a mechanic as soon as possible and have my car checked. All the best to you too and take good care of yourself!

Hello, You can use the Carly app to reprogram the battery for BMW and VAG vehicles (Audi, VW, Seat, Skoda). The function is currently not available for other vehicle brands.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a weak or dead battery. The flickering lights and inability to start are common symptoms. Try jump-starting the car or charging the battery. If the problem persists, it's best to have a mechanic inspect the issue as it could be related to the electrical system or the brake system, both of which are crucial for safe driving.

Hi, I know what you're going through because I had similar problems with my 2016 Opel Insignia. The battery was also weak when I started the car and then there was also this flickering of the lights. In my case, the problem was actually the battery, as it was flat/defective. I went to the garage and they replaced the battery, and I also had to reset the battery management system. It wasn't a huge drama, but if you don't fix it in time, it can eventually lead to the car no longer starting. So I would suggest you get it checked as soon as possible. Hope that helps you!
