Hey, thanks for your reply and your tips, really great! I had already considered whether it might be a fault in the engine control unit. But of course, the sooner the better - you're right. Can you perhaps remember what you paid the mechanic at the time and whether any subsequent problems arose? My Vivaro is really worrying me at the moment and I really have no idea what to do. Hopefully it will come to a good end soon... See you then!

Hey, ah, I fully understand how stressful that can be, especially when your Vivaro lets you down. After seeing the mechanic, the disconnection of terminal 15 was indeed the problem and it got fixed. Regarding your question about the cost, it cost me around €1000 to repair the engine control unit. Pretty expensive fun, I know, but it was worth it. Since the repair, my Zafira has been running like a dream again and no further problems have arisen. However, I can only tell you from my own experience and it will always depend on the individual case. I hope that your Vivaro will run just as smoothly! See you then!

Hi, that's very reassuring to hear that your Zafira has been running problem-free since the repair. 1000 seems quite a lot, but if it really solves the problem, then it's worth it. I will book an appointment with the mechanic as soon as possible in the hope that it won't be more than that amount. After that I can sleep more soundly and my Vivaro can work more efficiently again. Thanks again for your help, information and support! See you then!

Hey, I once had a similar problem with my Opel Zafira (diesel, year of manufacture 2009, mileage 67900 km). It was a serious engine control unit defect. It reacted with irregular error messages and the lights also flickered, in short, it was totally chaotic. As you already suspected, it had to do with terminal 15. My mechanic finally found the fault in the engine control unit and had to repair it completely. It was a choice between repair and replacement, but we eventually decided to go for the repair. It wasn't without a few headaches, but it worked out in the end. Don't underestimate it, the problem may be much bigger than it seems. Get it checked as soon as possible. Take care of yourself and your Vivaro. Bye!
