On the way to work, the warning light in the speedometer even came on once. In the end it was a faulty control unit, but the thing with the trunk in your car could also just be a mechanical problem. Don't worry, it was a problem, but not a serious one. Had to have the control unit replaced. With a bit of specialist knowledge, it's not that difficult to replace and your Karl should work as normal again afterwards.
