Hey, thanks for your helpful reply! That sheds a lot of light on the matter and it seems that I really shouldn't take the whole thing lightly. Do you remember how much you paid for the repairs at the garage? And were there any further problems after the repair or was everything OK? Best regards!

Hey, no problem, I'm glad if I can help! Well, the garage did a really good job back then and I had to put €1630 on the table. It wasn't cheap, but when it comes to cars, you shouldn't cut corners, right? They removed the plastic parts from my oil ducts (they were really tricky to find!), changed the oil filter and flushed everything thoroughly. Really professional work, you can't complain. Since I had the work done in the workshop, my car has fortunately been running like clockwork again - no more faults in the engine oil pressure system, the light is off and the engine noises are also a thing of the past. So, in short, so far I have nothing to complain about, everything is running like clockwork. I hope that reassures you a little! Greetings back!

Hey, thanks a lot for the detailed information! That really gives me some reassurance. 1630€ is indeed a lot of money, but as you said, when it comes to the safety and well-being of the car, you just shouldn't cut corners. I'm glad to hear you haven't had any further problems since. I will take your advice to heart and be very careful next time so as not to have another bad experience. A big thank you to you for your help. I wish you continued good times! Best regards!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Toyota Camry. It was definitely not something to take lightly. In my case, it was caused by small plastic parts blocking the oil channels. The whole thing started the same way, the oil light came on and unusual noises could be heard. I had to go to the garage and they examined it and removed the small pieces of plastic. It turned out that these came from a defective oil filter. The garage then also changed the filter and flushed the system. Not to be overlooked, metal shavings also had to be removed, meaning that more serious engine damage could easily have occurred. The workshop did a good job. Greetings!
