Wow, that sounds really bad. I had a similar problem with my old Ford once. Only back then it was the clutch that gave up the ghost. Your story reminds me a bit of that. But tell me, can you still remember how deep you had to dig into your pocket for it? And has a similar problem perhaps cropped up again since then? Hopefully I can get my box up and running again soon.

Hey, I had to fork out €1630 back then because my oil ducts were blocked due to small plastic parts. That really tore a hole in my pocket. Since I've been to the garage and had this fixed, I've had no more problems with the 'engine oil pressure system fault'. I have nothing to complain about! Since then my Ford Fusion has been running smoothly again. Hope this helps you! Don't worry too much, your little darling will soon be back on the road again.

Thank you guys! It really helps to hear your experiences. It's reassuring to know that problems have been solved in the past. 1630 doesn't sound cheap, but at least the car ran smoothly again afterwards. I think I'll definitely head to my garage tomorrow morning to get the whole thing over with quickly. Thanks again for your advice, really helpful. I hope to see my little runabout back on the road soon.

@CarFreak
Hi everyone, I have a 2023 Ford Bronco with 40,500 km. Recently, the oil lamp light turned on, and I've noticed some unusual engine noises. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what might be causing it and how to fix it? Thank you!
It sounds like you might be dealing with a potential oil pressure issue. Start by checking your oil level. If it's low, top it up and see if the light goes off and the noise stops. If the oil level is fine, it could be a faulty oil pressure sensor or a more serious issue like a failing oil pump. In any case, due to the importance of proper oil pressure for your engine's health, I'd recommend getting it checked by a professional mechanic as soon as possible.
Hey, that doesn't sound good. I drive a 2019 Ford Fusion and had similar symptoms some time ago. I had clogged oil passages due to small plastic pieces that had somehow gotten caught in the system. I also went to the garage and they had to completely clean the oil system and replace the oil pump to fix it. It was quite a serious problem, completely paralyzed my car. It's always amazing what damage such superficially harmless things can cause. Healthy engine running is really important, so I would advise you to have it looked at straight away. I hope it's not too big a problem and can be fixed quickly.
