Hey, cheers for sharing that. I own a '06 Nissan Stagea, pretty much the same model, and it gives me a bit of a chill hearing you had that kind of problem. Did you chock up a hefty bill getting it sorted? And has any other sneaky issue hopped up since then? Might as well brace myself for any upcoming surprises. Thanks again!

Hey, you bet. I was able to sort out that bulb issue I mentioned earlier after seeing my mechanic. Thankfully, that took care of that annoying dashboard warning light as well. When it comes to the costs, I did have to shell out 180€ for it. The problem was the cable connection to the lamp, turns out it was defective. But I reckon it's money well spent, safety first and all that, right? And since that repair, my '02 Cedric has been behaving perfectly, no new surprises. Hopefully, your situation won't be as complex. Good luck with it!

Good to have quality feedback from you. So it appears, it might not be a trivial bulb issue after all. Bummer about the cable connection, yours was a bit pricey there but I appreciate the heads up. I'm all for safety first, I know ignoring it is not an option. Thanks for the positivity, hoping mine will also behave well post the repair. Cheers for the info!

Hey there, I've got an '02 Nissan Cedric myself and had similar problems a while back. Turns out, it wasn't the bulb but an issue with the cable connection to the lamp. The mechanic said the connection was worn out and was causing both the funky lighting and the dashboard warning light. Quite a serious issue, because it can lead to total light failure which obviously is dangerous while on the road, especially at night. So, my advice, don't ignore it. Had to leave my car at the garage overnight whilst they fixed it. This kind of stuff can be pretty sneaky to diagnose, but a decent mechanic should be able to sort it out. Best of luck!
