Hey, Cheers for the heads up, tough to hear but incredibly useful. Sounds like my Qashqai might be going through the same thing. That oil pressure switch replacement and engine treatment you had done got me curious, do you happen to remember the dollar amount you had to shell out for it? Plus, it's been a while since you dealt with this nuisance, wondered if you've had any other unexpected surprises pop up after sorting this mess? Appreciate your advice.

Hey, Glad you found my two cents useful. As for the costs, the oil switch replacement and the wrongful engine oil both hit my wallet pretty hard, can't kid you there. For the Incorrect engine oil fix-age, I paid about 175€, but no more surprises emerged since that visit to the mechanic. The good news is that sorting out the Engine oil pressure switch defect did its job, no more strange warning lights! So, I'd say my car's been running much smoother. The stuff might pinch your pocket, but it's worth it in the end. You know, spending a little now saves big headaches later! Keep those wheels turning.

Hey, Appreciate the ballpark figures and the encouraging news about your Juke doing well since the fix. Sounds like it'll be a hard hit to the wallet, but hey, better to sort it out now than deal with a bigger headache later. I'll be sure to take your advice and get the right oil plus that switch sorted. Thanks for sharing your experience and insight, definitely eased some of my worries. Here's hoping my Qashqai's fix will have just as smooth a run as your Juke! Safe driving!

Hey, Bad news: you're in for a bit of a rough ride. Had the old 2013 Nissan Juke go through the very same thing not too long ago - quite a scary scenario! Ignoring the oil light was my initial mistake, and boy, did I regret it. Turns out, it was an incorrect engine oil issue. I was putting in the wrong grade not knowing my old Juke had been upgraded. The metal bits? That turned out to be a result of engine abrasion due to the wrong oil. It caused extra friction in the engine parts - those tiny unexpected, unwanted souvenirs found their way into the oil pan. What got done? A proper oil change, for starters. Flushed out all the dodgy oil and switched to the correct one. Then, they replaced the oil pressure sensor which cleared up the funny warning light. Finally, the technician conducted an engine treatment to help sort out the damage done. Trust me, don't take this lightly. You're gonna need that kind of work done if you're having the same symptoms. Remember, your ride needs the right oil to keep purring smoothly. Hope this helps!
