Hey there, Thanks for sharing your experience with a similar issue. It's comforting to know I'm not alone with this sort of problem! Now that you mention it, do you happen to recall how much the replacement of the ABS control unit set you back? Having an idea of what it might cost would surely help me out. Also, since they fixed it, has there been any other issues you've noticed? I'd like to brace myself if there's potentially more troubles brewing down the road! Cheers!

Hey back at ya! The replacement of the ABS control unit did require me to shell out a bit, I don't mind admitting. The total bill came up to €1000, which did make me wince, but in the name of safety and keeping the ol' girl running smooth, it was worth it. As for the other issues, you'll be glad to know that since the mechanic sorted everything out, the ride has been smooth sailing, with absolutely no extra troubles down the line. Particularly, that pesky "Speed signal faulty" warning, hasn't flickered since then. Remember, every car has its share of bumps and problems, the key is to catch 'em early and deal with 'em head-on. Best of luck with your Latio! Cheers!

Hi, Thanks for the helpful advice! It's a bit of a financial hit, but safety comes first, so it seems well worth the investment. You've given me some relief knowing that there haven't been any other problems after the repair. Now, I feel a bit more prepared to face the mechanic. Your input will surely help me to explain the issues my Latio's been having with confidence. Thanks a lot! Safe cruising! Cheers!

Hey, I've got a 2017 Nissan Sentra, and just last year, I dealt with a similar issue. My ABS light was constantly on, my ABS/DSC system was acting up, and I had a recurring warning in the speedometer. So, I took her to my local garage, and after a thorough check-up, they found the fault was indeed with the ABS control unit, kinda like what you're suspecting for your ride. They said it was a serious issue as it can affect my braking system significantly, which could be potentially dangerous. They had to replace the ABS control unit entirely to fix the problem. Now, everything's running smoother than ever! Remember, mechanics can seem scary, especially when you're not quite sure what's going wrong with your car, but with the right information, it really doesn't have to be. Just arm yourself with the information you can gather and be sure to clearly explain your car's symptoms to the mechanic. Knowledge is power, my friend. Hope my experience helps you out with your situation. All the best!
