Navigation and audio system problems in the Seat Arona Diesel 2019: experiences and solutions wanted

Navigationssystem is not working

No sound of the Audiosystem

Hi everyone, I have a strange problem with my Seat Arona Diesel from 2019. My audio system and navigation system no longer work, it just doesn't make a sound. Could it be that the function of the audio system is somehow restricted? Have any of you ever experienced something like this and perhaps know how I can fix it? I look forward to hearing your experiences and tips. How did the garages solve this for you back then?

Hi, I'm not a car professional but I do have a bit of experience. So, I had a similar problem with my SEAT Ibiza 2017 model. Only there was no sound from the bass speakers. I took it to my garage and the mechanic there said the wiring to the bass speakers was faulty. I had it replaced, which cost me €155.0 and then the fault was rectified. To help you better, could you please provide some more information about your vehicle? Such as model version or whether you have ever done any repairs to the radio. I hope this helps you a little. Good luck with the repair!

Hey, thanks for your reply and your tip! Well, I haven't done any special repairs to the radio yet, it's still the original one that came with the car when I bought it. The last service check was at 32,312 km and everything was still in order. I think I should probably ask my master mechanic what he thinks. I had hoped I could solve it myself without having to go to the garage, but I probably won't be able to avoid it.

Hey, no problem, that's what we're here for. Yes, that sounds like a good idea. However, restarting the system may also help. In my old cars, I disconnected the battery once and reconnected it, which often solved small software problems. You could perhaps try that before you go to the garage. It was sometimes the same with my Ibiza - and then it usually worked again. If that doesn't help and you really have to go to the garage, I hope that your wiring isn't broken too. That can quickly become expensive. But maybe you're lucky and it's just a software problem that can be solved. Keep your fingers crossed that it can be fixed quickly and cheaply! Please let me know what it was in the end. I'm already curious. We all like to learn!

Hey, thanks for the further help! That sounds interesting about restarting the system, I wouldn't have thought of it. I really will try the disconnecting and reconnecting the battery thing. And yes, hopefully it's just a software issue and nothing too worrying. I'll definitely report back when I have news or the problem is fixed. Maybe then someone else can benefit from it too. But hopefully it won't get to the point where the wiring has to be completely replaced. Have a nice evening and see you soon!

Hi, I had similar problems with my Seat Arona 2019. After my audio system and sat nav failed, I disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected it. That solved the problem for me. If that doesn't help, it could be due to the wiring or a software error. In that case, I would recommend a visit to the workshop. Good luck and please let me know how it goes!
