First of all, thanks for your quick reply! With my 109052 km mileage, this is the first time that my sat nav has gone wrong. Your experience will definitely help me, I'll mention it at the next workshop visit. Hopefully it's just a cable. Let's see if anyone else has had the same problem.

Hey, you're welcome! Given the mileage of your Ford Galaxy, it could well be a similar problem to the one I had. It would be a good idea to have it checked at the garage. If the problem is really due to a cable, you can probably expect similar costs as I did back then. Keep your fingers crossed that it's nothing more serious and that you can use your sat nav again soon! Please let us know how it goes. I'd love to hear how it turned out and whether my advice was helpful. Good luck!

Many thanks for the thumbs up! Yes, I definitely plan to have it checked at the garage. A broken cable connection at least sounds like a less serious and costly repair than a complete sat nav replacement. As soon as I have any news, I'll keep you updated here. I'm really impressed with your knowledge and helpfulness, it's great to meet people like you! See you guys later! Thanks again!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2011 Ford S-Max. I wouldn't describe myself as a car expert, but rather have little experience. In my case, it was the cable connection between the control unit and the display that was no longer in order. The connection was poor, so there was no image on the sat nav. I took it to my garage, where they repaired it for me for 165 euros. After that, everything worked as normal again. Could you tell us a little more about your vehicle (e.g. model, mileage, etc.)? That would help to give you more precise information. I hope you get the problem solved!
