Sure, no stress, I can remember that. The repair cost me exactly €50. It turned out that the fuse was faulty, so nothing to worry about. And as you mentioned in your message, since the visit to the mechanic, the defect in the wing mirror or the wing mirror heater has been fixed. Since then my mirror has been working perfectly, so don't panic. Doesn't seem to be a major issue. Hope it goes just as smoothly for you, buddy. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hi there too! That really reassures me, thank you! 65 sounds like a fair price. I'm glad to hear that your mirror is working well after the repair. I'll definitely ask about the fuse when I'm at the mechanic. Thanks again for the info and your support. I hope everything goes smoothly for me too. Your tips were really helpful, buddy. Have a nice day!

Hey, I recently had a similar problem with my 2016 Skoda Octavia. The mirror heater just wouldn't work properly any more. So I went to the garage and found that the heating modules in the mirror were defective and had to be replaced. So apparently it can actually happen that this mirror heater gives up the ghost. It's an annoying problem, but nothing super serious. Hope this helps you for your next workshop visit. Good luck, buddy!
