Minicab EV Central Memory Lock Issue, Need Help!

When I had my i-MiEV issue, I initially thought it was just the control module, but there was a bit more to it. In my case, after they replaced the control module, they discovered that two of the battery cells were showing irregular voltage readings. My mileage was pretty similar to yours, around 70,000 KM when this happened. The generic OBD2 scanner was pretty useless for me too. The shop had to use their specialized Mitsubishi diagnostic tool to really get to the bottom of it.
