Mini Roadster Hands Free Microphone Issue

I think I had something similar with my Mini Roadster. The audio system just stopped picking up my voice during calls. Did you notice any weird ambient noise issues or problems with other audio input sources before it completely failed? Maybe the wireless connection was acting up?

Yep, exact same thing! The sound quality tanked, then nothing. I tried all sorts of resets, but no luck. Eventually, I bit the bullet and took it to a workshop. Sadly, the whole infotainment unit needed replacing. What else could it be, right?

Many thanks for the confirmation. I took it to a workshop, and as suspected, the infotainment system was indeed faulty. Replacement set me back 815€. Everything works as it should now.
