Mini Roadster engine trouble

Well, I'm not entirely sure about your Roadster specifically, but in my Cooper, the fuse box is under the bonnet near the battery. Check your owner's manual; it should have a diagram. If it's not the fuse, then it probably really is the ignition switch or something more complicated. Honestly, a workshop will probably diagnose it faster than we can guess online. Good luck with the engine start!

Interesting. Where exactly should I be looking for this fuse? Is there a specific one related to the car ignition or engine start that I should focus on?

Just wanted to give an update. You were right to suggest the workshop! They found a defective fuse related to the car ignition. Replaced it for 52€ and my Mini Roadster is back on the road. Thanks a lot for the help!

Hmm, that sounds familiar. I've got a Mini Cooper, though not the Roadster, and I had something similar happen a while back. Engine wouldn't start sometimes, then would cut out while driving. Did you check the fuses? I'm no expert but it might be worth a look before you take it in. Could be a simple fix.
