Cheers for the reply! Fuel consumption seemed normal, no weird smells either. When you say 'exhaust system', you mean like, the whole thing? Or is there a specific part I should be looking at? I was reading something about regeneration, is that worth trying?

Okay, so no weird smells kinda rules out some possibilities. When I said exhaust system, I was thinking maybe a sensor issue somewhere, but with the smoke, it really does sound like the diesel filter. Regeneration is worth a shot, but honestly, if it's really clogged, it might be too late. A garage should be able to test the filter properly though. If the engine light is on, they can read the error codes to confirm the issue.

Appreciate your help! Took it to a workshop and they confirmed the diesel filter was toast. New filter replacement, cleared the engine light, and now my Roadster runs like a charm. Cost me around 1550€, but worth it to get her back on the road.

Whoa, sounds rough! I had something kinda similar happen with my Mini Cooper, though it's a petrol version. Reduced power and a light on the dash – could it be related to the exhaust system somewhere? Did you notice any difference in fuel consumption or strange smells before the smoke started?
