Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Mini Paceman Diesel (built in 2015). The navigation system no longer works and I suspect that it is due to the screen failure. Has anyone had similar experiences? How did your garage solve the problem and what tips can you give me?

Hello, I had a similar problem with my Mini Countryman (2017 model year). My sat nav display also suddenly failed. I only have a little experience with cars, so I went to the garage. The technician quickly found out that the cable connection between the control unit and the display was faulty, so a bad connection. It cost 165.0 euros to fix the problem. After the repair, everything worked perfectly again. For more detailed tips, it would be super helpful if you could give us more information about your vehicle, e.g. mileage or whether you have noticed any additional symptoms. Hi, thanks for your reply and the tip! My Mini has a mileage of 216543 km. Apart from the screen failure, the rest of the car still works perfectly. Hopefully it's just a cable connection in my case too. Best regards!

Hi, thanks for the additional information. I had a similar problem with my Mini Paceman Diesel. The mileage is over 200000 km and in my case it was actually the cable connection. The technician at my garage quickly found out and repaired it. Replacing the defective cable connection did cost a little more - just under 180 euros - but the sat nav worked perfectly again afterwards. I would recommend that you speak to your garage about this and ask specifically about the cable connection between the control unit and the display. Your problem sounds very similar to mine.
