Mini Paceman keyless issue

Alright, so my 2014 Mini Paceman is throwing a fit. The key battery low warning keeps popping up, and now the keyless access is totally dead. Plus, I've got an error stored in the error memory. Locking and unlocking are also acting up. Could it really just be the key fob battery being empty?

I had something similar happen with my Mini Paceman. Keyless access stopped working, and I kept getting a key battery low warning. Have you tried a battery replacement in your car key yet? It might just be a low voltage issue with the car key fob battery.

Yeah, I saw the battery warning, but figured it was just a nuisance. So you reckon a simple battery replacement for the key fob will sort it? Was it the same symptoms? Did you also have the error stored in the memory?

Sounds just like what happened to mine. Replacing the car key battery did the trick, but since you have the error stored, I would suggest visiting a workshop. They can read the error memory.

Just wanted to give a quick update! It was exactly as you said the fob battery was the culprit. Replaced it myself, cost me 37€ for the battery. Keyless entry is back, and the error message is gone. Thanks a bunch for the advice!
