Mini Paceman function restrictions

My 2015 Mini Paceman is throwing up function restrictions. The main symptom is that my smartphone will not connect. I've checked the obvious things and found an error stored in the error memory pointing to incorrect pairing with the end device. I've tried re-pairing several times, but no luck. Anyone else experienced this?

I had something similar happen with my Mini, although it wasn't a Paceman. The entertainment system just refused to connect to my phone one day. Did you notice any other issues, like maybe the engine light coming on, or anything weird with the brakes, ignition system, transmission, or drivetrain? Those cars are so sensitive, one little thing can throw everything off.

No engine light or anything like that, and the brakes, ignition system, transmission, and drivetrain feel fine. Just the phone connectivity issue. When it happened to you, was it a complete failure to connect, or intermittent? Did you also get error codes stored?

Yes, it was a complete failure. My phone just wouldn't recognize the car at all. And yes, there were error codes. Honestly, I fiddled with it for a while, but eventually I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Maybe try that if you're still struggling.

Thanks for the insight. I ended up having the pairing reset at the workshop. Seems a glitch in the system caused the issue. Cost me 45€. Everything is working as it should now.
