Mini Paceman Diesel Engine Trouble

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't had a chance to inspect the wiring myself. I am not experienced with auto electronics. Where exactly is the water sensor located in the Mini Paceman's engine compartment? Is it easily accessible, or would I need to remove other components to get to it?

Turns out it was indeed an electrical fault related to the water sensor's cable or plug connection. The car diagnostics confirmed the malfunction indicator was triggered by this sensor issue.
