Mini Countryman Sunroof Error

Strange, I had a similar issue with my Countryman's sunroof. The sunblind got stuck, and the whole convertible top refused to budge. Was any work recently done on the car's electronics? Have you tried any basic sunroof troubleshooting steps like checking fuses?

No fuse issues. By 'similar', do you mean the exact same symptoms? What was the resolution for you?

Yes, the symptoms were pretty much identical: sunblind stuck and convertible top inoperative. I didn't try anything myself. I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. I believe it had something to do with the car's computer, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks for the insight. Turns out some coding had messed with the sunroof system. A reset at the workshop fixed it. Cost me 75€, all in.
