Interesting. When you experienced the issue, did the error memory also indicate a problem? And if so, was it related to the pedal switch, speed sensor, or potentially the fuse box?

Yes, the error memory did point to something similar. I recall it being related to a sensor issue. Honestly, I'm not mechanically inclined enough to diagnose it myself, so I took it straight to the workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. May be best to take it to a professional.

Appreciate the insight. The error memory pointed to a defective pedal switch connection. A quick visit to the workshop and 95€ later, the cruise control is functioning again. The technician mentioned a common issue with the cable connections in the electric Countryman.

I had a similar problem with my Countryman. Check your fuse box first; a blown fuse can cause all sorts of weird issues. Also, have you checked the speed sensor? Sometimes a faulty sensor can disable the cruise control. It might also be the throttle position sensor acting up.
