Yes, I was referring to the connection at the antenna mount itself, behind the bumper. I didn't attempt a DIY fix; I simply took it to the workshop. They confirmed the issue, secured the connection, and the problems were resolved. It may be worth having a professional check it.

Many thanks for your advice. The workshop confirmed the bumper antenna was indeed the problem. Cable replacement and associated work cost 95€. Everything is working properly again.

I had similar issues with my Mini Cooper. The symptoms you describe sound very familiar. Did you check the connection to the automotive antenna? It's a common point of failure.
