Mini Clubman power window issue after battery change

I had something similar happen in my Clubman after a battery swap. Power windows went completely dead. Did you check the fuses? Sometimes it's a simple fix. Also, try holding the window switch in the up position for a few seconds after it's fully closed. I've heard that can sometimes reset the window controls. Is the window switch itself functioning properly?

Fuses appear intact following a visual inspection. The 'hold switch' method was attempted without success. When you say 'similar', are we talking about a complete regulator initialization failure, or just erratic window operation?

Yes, complete failure. No response whatsoever from the window controls. I tried everything I could find online, but nothing worked. Ultimately, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They reinitialized the window regulator using their diagnostic tools. Seems like the car electronics sometimes need a proper reset after losing power.
