Mini Clubman fault memory lock active issue

Consider the vehicle's electrical system as a network of interconnected nodes. An undervoltage event disrupts the communication, creating a 'memory lock'. It is recommended to have a workshop examine the control unit. Given the symptoms and error message, it is likely you will need professional intervention.

An intriguing point. Undervoltage, you say? How exactly can that cause the ECU fault and activate this 'memory lock'? Is there a specific module that's usually the culprit, or is it more like a domino effect across the entire system?

I'm grateful for your input it set me on the right track. The workshop confirmed it was indeed an undervoltage issue triggering a memory lock in the car electronics. The control unit was reset, and everything's running smoothly now. Cost me around 240€. Thanks again for your help!

I am familiar with similar occurrences in Mini vehicles. I have a Mini Cooper, and experienced comparable issues. The error logs indicated a 'fault memory lock active', pointing towards potential undervoltage. Have you checked the battery's condition or any recent electrical work performed on the vehicle, as that could have impacted the computer system?
