Software bug, huh? That sounds about right. Yeah, the error memory is full of error codes! How did you fix it? Did you do a software reset yourself, or did you have to take it somewhere? I'm not really tech-savvy when it comes to car software. Is a software update difficult? I'm desperate to get this sorted out!

Okay, based on your description and the error codes, it's highly likely a corrupted software issue. I wouldn't recommend attempting a software reset or update yourself unless you have experience with car programming. Incorrect flashing can brick the ECU. The best course of action is to take it to a certified workshop with the appropriate diagnostic tools and software. They can reflash the control module with the latest software version. I paid around that price, 240€, for the repair, so your mechanic's estimate seems accurate.

You were totally right! I took my Clubman to a certified workshop, and they confirmed it was a corrupted software issue. They performed a complete software update, recoded the control modules and everything is working perfectly now. The navigation is back, and all those crazy electrical glitches are gone. Cost me 240€, exactly what you predicted! Thanks a million for your help, you saved me a lot of stress and probably more money!

Sounds like ECU problems. I had a similar issue with my Mini Clubman a while back. The navigation went haywire, and I was getting all sorts of weird electrical faults. Was there any error code stored? For me, it turned out to be a software bug in the control module. A software reset or update might do the trick.
