Mini Cabrio Sunroof Error

Alright, so I've got a bit of a nightmare on my hands with my 2011 Mini Cabrio Diesel. The mileage is at 147746 km. Basically, I'm getting a 'sunroof not initialized' error. The sunblind is stuck, like totally stuck, and I can't open or close the convertible top at all now! I'm thinking it's probably something to do with some coding I recently had done, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Has anyone experienced anything similar with their vehicle sunroof? Any sunroof troubleshooting tips or ideas for a sunroof reset, maybe related to the sunroof mechanism or automobile sunroof?

I had a similar issue with my Mini Cabrio sunroof. It started acting up after some work was done on the car. Does the sunblind get completely stuck, or does it move a little? And does the error message appear constantly?

Yep, sounds very familiar. Mine did exactly the same thing. I couldn't fix it myself. Had to take it to a workshop to get the vehicle sunroof properly reset. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Yeah, the sunblind is totally stuck in one position, won't budge at all. The convertible top is completely disabled too. The error message pops up every time I start the car. Did yours do the same? How did you fix it?

Just wanted to let you know I got it sorted! Took it to a local workshop, and they reset the sunroof initialization for 75€. Apparently, the coding I had done messed it up. Thanks for the advice!
