Mini Cabrio AC Issues

A faulty sensor, you say? Interesting. Where exactly was this sensor located in your Peugeot, and how did you diagnose it? I'm trying to understand if that could be related to the 'Air conditioning control unit defective' diagnosis I received. I am driving the Mini Cabrio Diesel.

In my Peugeot, the sensor was near the compressor. I didn't diagnose it myself, to be honest. I took it to a workshop. Given you're getting a warning light and it's pointing to the AC unit, it's probably best to get it checked out properly. It’s like when your computer freezes; sometimes a simple reboot fixes it, but other times it needs a tech expert.

Just wanted to give you an update. Took the Mini to the shop, and you were spot on. The AC control unit was indeed the culprit. They replaced it, and the air conditioning is blowing cold again. Cost me a pretty penny, but at least it's fixed. Thanks again for your help!

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar experience with my old Peugeot. The air conditioning suddenly stopped working, and I got some error messages. In my case, it turned out to be a faulty sensor in the cooling system. It's like a small piece in a big puzzle that throws everything off. Have you checked the sensors?
