Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't actually made any adjustments, kept everything as good as when I bought it. My Aygo last had an inspection at 235266 KM. I don't know if there is still a connection with the kilometers and the defect. The costs you mentioned seem to be within reasonable limits. I'll probably just have to go to the garage and have it checked.

Hello again! Then it probably really has nothing to do with any adjustments. It's strange that the problem has only occurred now, even though your Aygo has covered so many kilometers. Of course, it could also be due to the age of the car. Yes, I was also surprised by the cost of replacing the microphone. Toyota parts are usually not that expensive. It's definitely worth a visit to the garage. In my case, they quickly diagnosed that the microphone was the problem. So don't panic at first. It shouldn't be a really big problem. Cheer up! Your Aygo will soon be fit again. Let us know how it goes.

Hello again and thanks for the advice! It's reassuring to know that Toyota parts aren't that expensive. Yes, the microphone issue is weird, but hopefully it's nothing serious. I also think my Aygo has just got old. I'll make an appointment with the garage tomorrow and keep you posted. Thanks again for your support!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2005 Toyota Yaris. I don't have much experience with cars, but I could tell that the microphone was defective. At my garage they replaced it for 255€. That fixed the problem. Can you please tell me if you have made any adjustments or modifications to your car? That might help to better understand your problem.
