Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2009 Mercedes Vito last year. The contacts of the battery in the siren were broken and the alarm system went crazy as a result. Because the contacts were corroded, the battery could no longer supply enough current to the siren. As a result, the siren in my alarm system no longer worked properly. It was a bit annoying, but overall it wasn't a serious problem. The mechanic cleaned the contacts and replaced the battery. After that, everything worked perfectly again. Greetings
