Thanks for your feedback. It's really stupid that you had such climate problems too! I'm missing out on the cold in the car in this weather, to be honest. Your tip about the condenser is good, I'll definitely have that checked. Can you remember how expensive the repair was back then? And has anything else happened to the air conditioning since then? Thank you in advance if you would like to share your experiences! Best regards!

Hello, sure, no problem! After seeing the mechanic, the defect in the air conditioning control valve was repaired. The repair costs amounted to just under €495, which was for fixing the leaking air conditioning system. Fortunately, I haven't had any more problems with the air conditioning since then, everything seems to be running smoothly again. Hope this information helps you! Let me know if you have any more questions. Take care!

Thanks for the quick reply and the helpful tips! The price quote really helps me to get a feel for the costs involved. I'm glad to hear that everything is going well with you since the repair, that gives me hope for my car! Your information was really helpful and I will definitely use it the next time I see the mechanic. Thanks again for your help. I wish you all the best! See you next time!

Hello, I had a similar problem with my 2012 Mercedes E-Class: air conditioning leaking and only warm air. In my case, however, it wasn't the control valve that was the problem, but the condenser had failed. It was quite a challenge to change it. It was all quite stressful, but not super critical. Just uncomfortable, especially in summer. Was done in the garage last time. They found the fault, replaced the condenser and then the air conditioning worked again. Next time something like this happens, I now know what to do. Hope that helps you. See if it could be the same for you. Greetings!
