Hey there! Oh, the dreaded maintenance marathon, I hear ya. But no it's been smooth sailing since I had those bits sorted out. As for the cost, it was around 290.00 € total to get the defective battery problem squared away. About the overvoltage issue you mentioned earlier, it got fixed when I saw my mechanic — turned out to be related to the dodgy battery. So, if you're seeing something similar, chances are it's the same problem. I'd suggest taking it to a trusted mechanic as soon as you can. They should be able to diagnose it and give you a solid estimate for fixing it. Hang in there. I know dealing with car problems can be a pain, but once it's done, it's done. Hey, sounds rough! I've got a 2019 Mazda CX5 and faced somewhat the same pickle. My mechanic narrowed it down to a faulty alternator that wasn’t charging the battery efficiently. Plus, the battery itself was defective. Had to replace both the alternator as well as the battery. I reckon it's a fairly serious issue, as leaving it unchecked could lead to the battery failing completely. On a lighter note, once they were replaced, things were back to normal and those problems never resurfaced. So, it might be worth having a chat with a mechanic you trust about having a look at the alternator and battery in your ride. Good luck with that!
