Hey again, Followed your advice and I'm glad I did! Had my mechanic check both the wiring harness and the fuel level sensor. Sure enough, the Wiring harness/plug was defective. Got it fixed and at a cost of 95.00 € no less, not bad, right? And for the good news, that pesky fuel level sensor malfunction was sorted out since speaking to the mechanic! Oh, the relief! In terms of any 'new' problems, so far, so good! No smoke signals or weird smells from the exhaust yet and the engine's been humming nicely. Just keeping my fingers crossed that it stays this way.
